2018 Year In Review

2018 Year In Review

I meant to publish this on Dec 31 but forgot!  My New Years Resolution is to remember each Dec 31 to do a quick post with key updates from the year.

This year's big news was the announcement of Baby #8 in February the arrival of Mr. Theodore in June.    Sarah returned from her year in Chile as a Rotary Exchange student and she is now completely fluent in Spanish with a bevy of friends in Chile.  Her presentation to the Rotary club here about her year can be seen here:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKSfwGcmgjc

Vienna - summer internship in the governor's office in NH, leadership in Yale Political Union
Hayleigh - finalized major as elementary education, great friend group and church group at school
Leia - entered high school and is excelling at school
AJ - professional theater credits as Michael in Peter Pan and Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol.
Isaiah and Natalia - 5 and 4 years old respectively, very busy, very funny, very loud.
Baby Theo - super cute and everyone loves him

We have taken in a German foreign exchange student who is 16 years old this fall and were able to have Mimi to New England twice (after baby Theo was born and for Christmas as well).  Favorite memories would be our week at the beach in August where our big sand castle this year was a huge stork holding Baby Theo and hosting a huge Thanksgiving feast at our home with family and friends.  It has been a blessing to have our older kids home from college several times and having all 10 of us together for summer and the holidays.
